Peter Graham is a singer-songwriter from the village of Millbrook, Ontario. He is now based in Toronto, where he performs with a backing band. Peter’s music blends traditional country instrumentation and the narrative verse of folk, with an emphasis on concise and honest lyrics.
Peter's earliest memory of music is crafting mixtapes with his brothers after his Aunt Rosie, who worked at Toronto record shop, dropped off a cardboard box brimming with CD’s. Later, while attending Bishop's University, and fueled by the encouragement of his roommate, Peter began playing and performing. Further training at Bishop’s and the Royal Conservatory followed and Peter has been writing original music—and working at the craft—ever since.
You can catch Peter and his band every month at Whelan’s Gate, where they hold a residency, and his debut EP will be released in June 2017. In the fall, the band will be touring small-town Ontario promoting the new release.
